Independent Reading 2

Sprig is always waiting her father because her father is staying foreign country. And also he will move to another foreign country that is more far than place of now. When I was child about 6-7 years old, my father often going to foreign country also. For example, Korea, Chaina, Thai, Singapore, and more something. I was really sad because I prefered my father so much!! He was playing with me all the time and very kind for me. So I wanted to play and eat dinner with my father everyday. This feeling is same as Sprig I think. All children be sad when own family go somewhere. I was waithing his calling when he went there. I can understand her feeling well. I want to cooporate. I understand that I don't distarb him but my feeling was really sad and alone. When I am reading this book, I am nodding all the time.

Morning, she was riding a school bus and thinking about Afghanistan. Because dad said that "child should know about the country and if you can get some information, tell me. This is just my interest." So Sprig try to collect the information in school also. At the night, her mother brought bad news. It is,, dad have to go to Afghanistan. She really srprised and shocked because the country is far away. Not only the distance but also she had been watched bad fight news in Afghanistan. She wanted to cry and she almost cried. Then Dakota encourage her, that's so rare thing. "This plan should change. Something will happen. Don't worry about that." Sprig surprised again because her sister said like that.

Sprig tried new thing to her sister Dakota. One day, they were eating hamburger at night. Dakota was teasing Sprig like always. Dakota asked her "can you pass the tomato for me?" Always Sprig do that soon but she tried to say "you have to say please if you want it." First Dakota upseted little, but she didn't give up. Finally, Dakota said "please" to her. Her feeling was so nice!! At the night, their mother was took phone by daddy. Mother told him that your doughters is cleaning room now. He praised girls. After done mom talking, Dakota got the phone. Even though Sprig said "i wanna talk first!!", she ignored that and continue talked. She add said "tonight it's in order of age." Her fell was really bad again because of DAKOTA.

Independent Reading 1

This book is very interesting and funny for me. My favorite is relationship between older sister, Dakota, and younger sister, Sprig. Dakota is always teasing Sprig. She don't like that and she hates Dakota. However I understand feeling of Dakota. Own younger sister or brother is really funny and I want to tease his or her too!! I like his or her responsible after teased. Dakota is too mean to sprig, not same as me. Dakota knows that Sprig likes her father so much, but when he called his home, Dakota talked everything before talk with Sprig. She prepared for talk but her sister talk everything. So she just say "Are you fine?" like that. My favorite scene is Sprig was took talking things again, and then she said just "I miss you, dad." After she said it, she was shy. That's so pretty and i understood the feeling. I'm reading middle of story. Dakota still tease her sister and Sprig still hates her sister. Recently, she made list of "Ten ways to make my sister disappear." I hope two of sister's relationship be better.

Miss Ruthie is sister's neighborhood. She has dog, his name is Cora. Sprig and Dakota like Cora so much!! especially cora is best understand person for her. Miss Ruthie askes sister, "can you take care cora two days? My brother and niece will come to my house." Sisters answered YES of course. Miss Ruthie will pay money for sisters but Dakota and Sprig were dential about that. She invited Dakota to her house to teach about Cora. Cora's food, toy, and many things. But Sprig already know all things. She has question. Is old sister better than young sister? Because older?
She has always this question. And then she think about way to maky Dakota disappear again. The next way is use "smoke." Some smoke covered Dakota and then it rising, rising, rising. Becoming smaller and smaller, fainter and fainter... until proooof... she's gone.

At a monthly, there is reading meeting in Sprig house. It means Sprig and her mother read book and talk about the book in her mother's bed. This is really fun and special for Sprig. But this monthly, she cound't join this meeting because her mother had headache and she needs sleep well. she very dissapointed. Dakota teased her again. Sprig ignored that, and then she would start write essay. Her essay due tomorrow morinig but she just harf finish. During she was writhing essay, Dakota said crazy things suddenly. "I love thomas, he is the best boy in United States!!" He is in her class. Sprog tough that he is not really handsom and hot also. Sprig wrote essay about my family. Dakota said to her, "If you wrote someting about my bad things, I do not give you permission." Sprig answered YES. Tomorrow morning she was due the essay. "My sister's problem is that she thinks she has no problem"

When the women asked sisters about how are you going?, Dakota told her about Sprig is always crying about dad's trip. After that she upseted, and they fought again. In sprig's school, substitute teacher came her class. His name is Mr,Julius. He is little strange because he talked too much, ends just about every sentence with "okay?" After school, Sprig friends said "Russeell probably likes you." Russeell is boy, he is noisy and pretty weired. She wanted denial about that. Sisters ride a bus for go back home.

Each time, Sprig and Dakota competed for which talk with dad first. But actually, always Dakota is winning and she talked about everythings before change to Sprig. One day, Sprig wants to say something to him because she little shy. And then she said,, ‘I miss you.’ Just three little words, but her throat clogs up. After that she was crying under the blanket.

One day Sprig became 10 years old. 10 is lucky and favorite number for Sprig. She thinks that I’m already mature girl. Furthermore she is already waiting for next birthday. One day, her father had to go to a trip for job. She likes her father so much. She tried to stop father, but he had to go and then she hope that father come back home early. Her sister, Dacota is 12 years old. She is pretty mean to Sprig. After sprig say something, she always copy that or say irony. Sprig was really annoying to her, Finally she thinks that father and Dacota should change the place. Dacota goes to trip forever, and father should work in the home forever. She wishes this idea become real.
